Why is the fat burn muscle burn off after a workout?
I’m currently going on a diet (protein in the morning, eggs, salad and fruits in the afternoon, then calories again in the evening). I recently discovered that when I work out, I burn muscle (I feel it when I work out).
Why is this? I already noticed that when I work out, my body tries to “adapt” to this new diet and it throws everything against the wall to burn everything I don’t need, but it seems to burn all my muscle, too.
I figured that I worked out my muscle and I am now just working out my fat, so why is that my body now (after I work out) throws everything against the wall to burn everything that wasn’t burned up yet? Why doesn’t it leave the fat for a new source of energy?
